Workshop in U.S. History
Inaugurated in 2010 and organized by graduate students, the Workshop in U.S. History aims to provide a forum for discussing intellectual and professional issues in the study of American history.
Primarily, it is a venue for graduate students, faculty, outside speakers, and any other interested parties to present papers and discuss topics in professional development (e.g., acquiring grants and publishing articles in peer-reviewed journals).
Readings are distributed in advance, and meetings consist of lively discussion.
