Biography

Tim enrolled at Emory University after serving over 14 years in the Active Duty Air Force. He served as an Assistant Professor of History at the United States Air Force Academy, Department of History for five years where he taught a myriad of core survey and upper division courses on World, Military, Atlantic World, and East Asian History.

Tim's current research focuses on the Dutch East India Company's assistance to the Tokugawa Shogunate in quelling the 1637 Shimabara Rebellion.
