Biography 

I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations from the Center for Research and Teaching in Economics (CIDE), in Mexico City. Later, I received a master’s degree in African Studies from Yale University, where I studied Houses of Chiefs. My research interests are centered around public deliberation institutions and traditional authorities in 20th-century Southern Africa, specifically Botswana, Lesotho, and Eswatini.
